This program is not intended as a primary source of food. Our goal is to provide nourishing food to help supplement what you already have. It is also used to provide flexibility in your income to assist with other obligations, i.e. Rent, utilities, medications, health insurance, etc. All the food provided by Community Link has been donated and is for your personal use only; it cannot be sold, traded, or bartered.
Community Food Market
The Community Food Market, held in partnership with Tarrant County College and the Tarrant Area Food Bank, features a farmer’s market-style layout.
ABOUT OUR COMMUNITY FOOD MARKET
Extending far beyond a canned food drive …
The Community Food Market offers a variety of fresh foods, including meats and produce. Families are responsible for bringing their own bags and wagons to transport their items. The market is held at Tarrant County College, NW Campus on the third Friday of the month. During the Holidays and the summer times will vary when the campus is closed. Always check our events calendar to confirm if the market is open. The market is open from 8:30am – 11:30am or until we run out of food so come early if you can.
Community Link provides enrollment assistance for Medicaid and SNAP.
It’s so much easier when you have someone to walk you through the process.
Representatives will be on site to help enroll you in benefits. To schedule an appointment to meet with a Client Services team member, please call 817-847-4554.
