Launching Fresh Link Farms has been an exciting and rewarding journey—but not without its challenges. From the very beginning, our team stepped into a world of learning, innovation, and persistence.
Starting out meant diving headfirst into the technical side of hydroponic farming. We worked to understand how to create and maintain the perfect environment for plants to thrive—balancing water, nutrients, lighting, and timing. Establishing steady growing cycles was no small task, and like many new ventures, we faced a steep learning curve.
But through every challenge, our team remained committed. We adapted, problem-solved, and grew stronger with each step forward.

Our first harvest took place in September 2025—a milestone that marked the beginning of something truly impactful. Since then, Fresh Link Farms has consistently produced an average of 1,000 plants each week. In 2025, we successfully harvested over 10,000 heads of lettuce. Today, we cultivate a diverse variety of fresh produce including lettuce, leafy greens, and bok choy.
The impact of this work reaches far beyond the farm.
From September through December, Fresh Link Farms served a total of 14,327 individuals, providing fresh, locally grown produce to the community:
-
September: 3,731 individuals
-
October: 3,819 individuals
-
November: 3,813 individuals
-
December: 2,964 individuals
In that same time, we distributed thousands of plants and fresh greens:
-
September: 280 plants/heads of lettuce
-
October: 2,774 plants/heads of lettuce or greens
-
November: 4,136 plants/heads of lettuce or greens
-
December: 3,465 plants/heads of lettuce or greens
These numbers represent more than just harvest totals—they reflect meals on tables, increased access to fresh food, and a growing connection between innovation and community need.

Fresh Link Farms is still growing, still learning, and still committed to making a difference. What started as a challenge has quickly become a meaningful source of nourishment and support for thousands.
And we’re just getting started.
