About me

Mike is a trauma-informed, solution-focused counselor (LPC) that specializes in helping clients seek stability in recovery from addiction and abuse. His additional areas of focus include: adolescent emotional and/or behavioral issues, men’s issues, trauma/ PTSD, anger management, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, parenting issues, and blended families. Mike holds a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Southwestern Assemblies of God University. He has experience working in both inpatient and outpatient hospitals, men’s drug and alcohol rehabilitation, and in private practice.

Professional experience

Mike is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas. Along with being a fully trained EMDR therapist, Mike utilizes several modalities in practice including family systems, IFS, CBT, narrative therapy, and DBT.
