First the groundwork was prepared for the freight, to ensure the land was ready for its arrival and permanent home for Fresh Link Farms.
After a few weeks, Fresh Link Farms was delivered to the market on May 3, 2025. It was a proud moment for us at Community Link, as so much time, work, and endless dedication had gone into making this project a reality.
It just so happened to arrive during a farmers market day. The season had been rainy until then, so this was a busy and beautiful day at the market. With finally this season, having such a big community gathering, it stood as a testament to our commitment to sustainable agriculture and community well-being. Shoppers and vendors were excited and many gathered, eager to get a glimpse at the container, excited for a healthier future. This milestone marked not just the delivery of our hydroponic container, but the beginning of a new chapter, where local produce and community spirit thrive hand in hand.
Once the container was placed in spot by Yellowstone Crane and Rigging, Inc., our Executive Director, Lara Fuller, and Community Engagement Coordinator, Whitney Berry, immediately took action unboxing parts, inspecting, and getting it ready for set up.
Now the real journey begins!
