We’re excited to introduce the newest member of the Fresh Link Farms team—Samantha!
Samantha recently joined us at the Lettuce Shack and has already jumped right into growing fresh, nutritious produce for our community. With a passion for sustainable agriculture and hands-on farming experience, she’s a wonderful addition to our hydroponic farm.
Originally from Anaheim, California, Samantha recently made the move to Texas with her family. She graduated from the University of Idaho with a degree in Plant Science, where she gained valuable experience both inside and outside the classroom. While attending the university, she served as the Lead Intern at the Student Farm and was a member of the university’s Hydroponic Club, helping grow fresh produce while expanding her knowledge of innovative farming techniques.
Since arriving at the Lettuce Shack, Samantha has been busy planting, growing, and caring for a wide variety of lettuces, leafy greens, and herbs. Her enthusiasm for hydroponic farming and commitment to producing high-quality, locally grown food shines through in everything she does.
If you’ve visited the Azle Farmers Market or the Saginaw Farmers Market, you may have already met Samantha! She’ll often be there selling our fresh hydroponically grown produce and would love to chat with you. Whether you’re curious about how hydroponics works, wondering how we grow lettuce without soil, or looking for tips on storing and using fresh greens, Samantha is always happy to answer your questions.
We’re thrilled to have Samantha as part of the Fresh Link Farms family and look forward to seeing all the great things she’ll accomplish as we continue growing fresh food for our community.
