Julie O. Chadwell, LCSW
Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Texas
About me
I hold a Bachelor Degree of Science in Counseling Education from the University of North Texas and a Master Degree of Science in Social Work from the University of Texas at Arlington. I have an advanced license in Clinical Social Work with a focus in Direct Mental Health Practice. I have experience in a variety of settings which include: school systems, psychiatric hospitals, domestic violence shelters, assisted living and long-term care facilities, private mental health companies, and most recently, Community Link Counseling Center. My focus and passion are adults. I adhere to the National Association of Social Workers Code of Ethics and I provide service with competence and integrity, fight for social injustice, see the dignity of worth of every person, and place importance on human relationships. I meet clients where they are without judgment and I guide, support, and teach coping skills to help them navigate and walk through difficult times. I believe therapy is a team effort between the therapist and the client. I look forward to working alongside you.
