This holiday season, gifts to Community Link had double the impact thanks to a generous matching challenge.
And thanks to generosity from supporters in our community like you, we exceeded our goal by raising over $60,000!
That doesn’t mean it’s too late to give. Every dollar given to our Season of Hope campaign ensures families in Northwest Tarrant County have the food and the resources they need to get back on their feet by providing essentials and ongoing support through:
- Food Assistance
- Housing Assistance
- Job Training and Employment Services
- Mental Health and Counseling
- … and many more services that will create a Season of Hope!
The generosity of individuals like you has made a difference for tens of thousands of neighbors in Northwest Tarrant County, helping address the root cause of poverty and create a path for sustainable hope and opportunity.
Every gift to the Season of Hope campaign will ensure more neighbors find the support and hope they need to thrive in the year ahead.
Neighbors like Katelyn…
Katelyn thought she had built her dream home and life—until everything came crashing down.
Katelyn had planned carefully to escape her abusive husband, saving money while delivering food and groceries, but one night, everything fell apart. A violent outburst forced Katelyn and her kids to run for their lives, leaving them homeless and without resources.
Her husband had emptied their bank accounts, and Katelyn found herself sleeping in the car with her children, struggling to survive.
Two months later, Katelyn found Community Link. A friend had recommended our food pantry, and even though she arrived on a day it wasn’t open, our team didn’t turn her away. We provided food that day, set her up with a caseworker, and walked her through every available resource.
Thanks to donors like you, we helped pay her electric deposit, provided two months of child care, and ensured her family had ongoing food support. These vital services lifted a huge burden, giving Amanda a sense of normalcy and hope.
“Not only did they help us with food and utilities,” she shared, “but they did so with compassion and dignity. They gave us hope.”
We wish we could tell you this was an isolated case, but sadly, over 22,000 families in Northwest Tarrant County reached out to us for support last year alone.
Please help bring hope to more families like Katelyn’s this holiday season.
- $50 helps stock our food pantry with healthy, staple foods for families in need.
- $100 provides assistance to counseling for an individual or family in need.
- $250 provides utility assistance to keep the lights on and heat running.
This holiday season, you have the power to make a difference for families who are searching for hope. Your generosity will ensure that more neighbors in crisis have the support they need to find stability and healing.
Together we can address root causes of poverty in Northwest Tarrant County!
