Double Your Gift This Season of Hope
Across Northwest Tarrant County, more families and seniors are turning to Community Link for help. Even though food assistance has resumed, many households are still feeling the residual strain from the recent interruption and the challenge of budgets that simply don’t stretch far enough.
To help us meet this growing need a generous friend has stepped forward to offer a dollar for dollar Matching Challenge. Every gift received by December 31st will be matched up to $50,000!
Hope is found here every day because of neighbors like you.
When you give during this Season of Hope, you help ensure families have the groceries they need to get through the week. You help seniors living on fixed incomes. You help parents doing everything they can to take care of their children. And you help provide stability during a time when many are struggling to regain their footing.
Your generosity goes even further at Community Link. In addition to this matching challenge, the partnerships we have in place means every dollar you give already stretches three, and sometimes four, times further allowing us to provide each family that visits with 2 weeks of groceries for $100.
The Need in Northwest Tarrant County
Hunger is closer than many realize.
- 1 in 6 people in our community face food insecurity.
- 1 in 5 children don’t know where their next meal will come from.
- Tarrant County has the 12th highest food insecurity rate in the nation.
At Community Link, we see this need every day. In 2024, we served 25,000 families and 86,586 individuals.
But our resources are stretched too thin. Right now, we can only support 160 families each day, even though the demand is for more than 300 families daily.
That means too many of our neighbors are left without the food they need.
Join us in bringing hope to Northwest Tarrant County.
Make your Season of Hope gift today, your gift of $50 will double to provide two weeks of groceries for a family.
