Neighbors like Alyssa…
This Christmas, Alyssa, a single mom in our community, is experiencing something truly special. Not because she and her five children have a new home and enough to eat, though these are important.
The significance lies in the safety and newfound hope they have this year.
Thanks to your support, Alyssa found that hope — and your year-end gift can extend the same hope to more of our Northwest Tarrant County neighbors in 2024.
Alyssa’s story is one of resilience and transformation.
Five years ago, she moved to Texas from the east coast, and started facing domestic violence issues that escalated over time. Forced to escape with her children, they began anew with nothing.
Discovered through an online search, Community Link became a lifeline. Despite facing an out-of-reach security deposit for a suitable home, Community Link stepped in the next morning to offer assistance. Alyssa and her kids moved into their new home within days!
Alyssa and her kids will never be the same after connecting with Community Link…
“Not only did they help me with my security deposit, they’re helping me with diapers, food, and they connected me with another organization that furnished our entire house. Because of Community Link, I’m more hopeful. I’m more confident. And I believe there are good people in the world.”
There are good people in the world, and you’re one of them.
So please give today, knowing that your gift will go directly to providing more Tarrant County neighbors with the food, counseling, and housing and employment assistance they need to find their path to sustainable, long-term hope.
Together we can address root causes of poverty in Northwest Tarrant County.
